Choong Whan Park USC Awards and Recongnition

Professor C. W. Park (C. Whan Park) received the Long-Term Contribution Award in 2025 from one of the most prestigious SCP (Society for Consumer Psychology). SCP selected his article, co-authored with Matt Thomson and Debbie MacInnis, titled “The Ties that Bind: Measuring the Strength of Consumers’ Emotional Attachments to Brands” (Volume 15, 1, 77-91, 2005) as the most impactful article among all the articles published in Journal of Consumer Psychology from 2005 to 2024. The selection criteria were based on the number of citations by other scholarly articles and the article’s pioneering contribution to the consumer behavior field.
